Verulam v Verulam Artisans Match

On Saturday the annual grudge match of the main club v the artisans was held. This is always a tense fixture with lots of banter being passed from either side. The losing captain has to wear the wooden spoon for the entire evening!

Unfortunately for Captain Syd, it was him. The main club lost 3.5 - 6.5, luckily for Captain Spencer Devereaux.

A fun and enjoyable day and evening was had by all. Watch out for the Artisans aiming to regain the trophy next year!
