It feels like this time every year we have new golf clubs land on our shelves, and they just keep getting better and better!
One of the best reasons to look forward to each new year is the release of new golf clubs! Plenty of you will be wondering where the past 12 months have gone, and when you feel that last year’s model still feels fairly fresh in your golf bag, you may be sceptical of just how much better 2025's irons can be.
Well, 12 months is a long time of R&D in the golfing world. Each season brings fresh feedback, data, and innovation, and Srixon is on top of their game when it comes to refining and enhancing their golf gear. Today we want to walk you through the very latest Srixon golf irons for 2025 and explain what makes them such an asset to have in the bag.
Without further ado, feast your eyes on the brand-new Srixon ZXi irons!
Innovating and changing things up with every release, Srixon has updated their latest irons inside and out. The ZXi iron has made some subtle changes to the superb ZX Mk II design.
While the clubhead still features the same stylish chrome patterning, you’ll notice some slight alterations in the newer model. For example, the PureFrame stamp on the PureFrame cavity back (MainFrame in ZXi5 & ZXi4) has moved from the cavity back to the top of the back of the clubhead in the ZXi.
Such slight changes shoe Srixon are conscious about what changes can benefit a new model right down to very minute intricacies. The aesthetics are certainly bold and inspiring, but while the new 2025 golf iron is nice to look at, how dies it feel to play with?
Srixon is renowned for making irons that both look and feel amazing, and it’s the tech under the hood you have to thank for helping your approach shots land right where you want them to.
Srixon’s forging process makes use of a softer S15C steel in a single-piece iron body, the result is a solid, extremely soft feel when striking through the ball. The PureFrame cavity itself uses a larger forged ridge in the body of the iron to provide greater stability to the clubhead, and making it easier to strike the sweet spot.
I'm very impressed with the look of these irons, they're going to jump out certainly on the shop floor.
The face is stunning, and the sole has similarly undergone an intricate crafting process to give you the most out of your strikes. Srixon’s V.T. sole features a varying combination of sole widths, bounce angles, and notches to ensure you have a smooth glide through the turf whether you’re striking through dense grass or sand.
To put it simply, the new ZXi irons really do feel as good as they look, and their performance is stellar. There are three models in the 2025 golf iron range, each crafted to benefit a certain kind of player.
We’ve just given you a good overview of how stunning the ZXi7 irons look. Whether they’re resting in your bag or you have them in your hands, they appeal from every angle. This iron has been crafted to reward skilled players who are looking for greater workability. A thin topline, narrow sole, short blade and minimal offset all combine to make a spectacular looking compact clubhead.
An excellent distance iron within its own right, the ZXi5 is a little more forgiving than the ZXi7. This iron has a slightly wider sole that provides players with greater distance and forgiveness. With a slightly larger head profile, players will feel greater confidence when they’re standing over the ball too.
The most forgiving iron in the range, the ZXi4 is the club of choice for novice golfers who want to build up consistency when striking the ball. Srixon has given this club a MainFrame that saves weight and adds more MOI through making modifications to the back side of the iron. This makes the club much more stable on impact with the ball, giving you greater accuracy.
You can see these fantastic irons in the pro shop right now! It’s a great time to get to grips with new 2025 golf irons ahead of the warmer months, why not pop in and take them for a swing?
