Junior News

The Stars of the Future

On Sunday we held our first in-house Junior Golf Tournament. It was incredible to see so many Juniors out on the course enjoying themselves for the first time.

Safe to say, it was a huge success and plans for the next event are already underway.

The 8 hole tournament consisted of 3 different age categories, 4-7, 8-11 and 12+. A total of over 30 young golfers played.

We want to wish a huge well done to everyone that took part and of course congratulations to all of the Winners.

Winners:

Ages 4-7 - William Black

Ages 8-11 - Max Elliot and Aran Black

Ages 12+ - Leo Holland

Well done to Grant Neal for arranging and hosting the day along with all of the parents for the support with this great event.

Yesterday the captain and I had our first challengers of the year.

They were Allen Miller and Bryn Aldridge. We started the match rusty and were 4 holes down after 5 holes.

We managed to claw it back 1 down through 10 holes however they came strong at the end and beat us 3 down.

Drivers: what's in your bag?

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be looking at what you’ve got in the bag and where there’s room for improvement. There’s only one place to start, though, right? The one we all love letting rip and hate watching fly out of bounds… It’s the driver!

How are you getting on with your driver?
