Welcome to another fun filled newsletter from Verulam Pro Shop.

You may have noticed that I have been absent from the club for a week or so. Unfortunately for me I contracted a kidney infection which wiped me out for 10 days or so. Luckily I am now back to full health!

Samuel Ryder Trophy

On Saturday we hosted our premier event of the year the Samuel Ryder Trophy. This is predominately a scratch pairs event playing foursomes in the morning, and better ball in the afternoon.

We had a full field of 42 pairs all of which had a great day. Compliments were made in force of the condition of the golf course so a big thanks to our course manager Chris Carpenter and his team.
