Last week I took three of the Verulam Artisans away to Vilamoura, Portugal for the Lancashire PGA Pro-Am. We arrived on Thursday to blistering sunshine where we had a practice round at San Lorenzo Golf Club. I have played San Lorenzo many times before and it never ceases to amaze me what a beautiful golf course it is.

We then moved on to Vila Sol Golf Resort where we stayed and played three rounds alternating the nines each day. None of our golf lived up to our high standard but we did however have a fun filled laughter packed four days of golf. I would highly recommend Vila Sol as a golf resort. Thanks to Dave Curtler, Nigel Atree and Denis Barclay for a memorable trip!

AimPoint is Coming to Verulam!

On Saturday, 24 March Carl will be hosting an AimPoint Express Clinic alongside expert AimPoint instructor James Skelton exclusively for our members. The AimPoint Express green reading method is used by hundreds of tour players worldwide and will teach you how to read break like a seasoned professional.

Electric Trolley Lease starts 1st March

Would you like to take advantage our trolley leasing programme. From 1st March to 31st November (minimum end date) you can have unlimited use of an electric trolley all for ONLY £120.

To guarantee your trolley all you must do is book with the pro shop. This works out to cost just over £13 per month or approximately £3 per week. We will be receiving brand new electric trollies at the end of February.
