Practice Pays Off

Raffi followed up his gross 7th place finish (from a field of just under 100) on the Futures Tour at The Shire last Sunday, with a gross tied 2nd (3rd on countback) at the iTour competition at Hartsbourne Country Club today.

He won the nett competition playing 7 shots under his handicap over 9 holes.

All that practice on Verulam's putting and chipping greens paying off!

Short Game Clinic

As mentioned in last week’s newsletter, we will be running small group clinics for our members starting in July. Carl will be holding a short game clinic at 6pm on Thursday, 6 July focusing on chipping technique and saving shots around the green.

All members are welcome to take part. The sign-up sheet is located in the entrance of the clubhouse and men’s changing room.
