Swing Tempo
Does your swing ever feel hurried? Inconsistent results? Are you more of a 'hitter' than a 'swinger'?
Research has shown that the most successful golfers have a consistent swing ratio (backswing to downswing) of 3:1.
The Drill:
Find your natural tempo - get into your posture and take a few swings with one hand.
Notice the feeling of a pause at the top of the backswing - allowing the body and club time to fully coil
This drill provides a great feeling of swinging through to your target as opposed to hitting at the ball!
Promotes a consistent tempo and natural release!
