This week's news contains an update on our Centenary Cup, which saw one of our semi finalists in contention to be the youngest winner in its history, some crackling hot weather deals as well as some exciting upcoming events.
Centenary Cup
Over the weekend we held our long slogger of a competition - the Centenary Cup. The competition is an 18 hole medal on a Saturday, followed by the top 4 battling it out in a matchplay semi-final and final on the next day.
This year we had 4 strong semi-finalists, Dan Walker, Alan Thomson, Stefan Martin and Henry Pelham.
The final was contested by Stefan and Henry, and there was a lot riding on the final as Stefan, (a junior member) attempted to be the first junior to win the prestigious event!
Stefan found himself 3 down after 9 with a tough mountain to climb on the back nine. He gained the final bit of energy for the last 9 holes of the 54 hole competition and ended up winning the match 4&3.
A massive congratulation goes to Stefan and the other semi-finalists.

Wednesday, 8 June we are hosting a Mizuno Fitting day. The day will be conducted by one of Mizuno's expert custom fitters and he will be able to give you everything you need to know about Mizuno golf clubs and what suits you best.
