On Saturday, 6 February the club hosted a Stableford competition for all the members. We had a good turn out with 71 players despite the wet windy weather. Well done to everyone who played.

Trolley Leasing Offer 2016 is back!!! The popular electric trolley leasing offer is back. The opportunity exists to lease a trolley from 1st March to 1st November (weather dependant) for only
£110 you can use the trolley as many times as you want. This year all trollies come with an umbrella holder!
To guarantee a trolley all you need to do is book it with us in the Professional Shop.

The brickwork for the studio has been raised to the required height. As I write this newsletter the roof is being fitted and will be weatherproofed towards the end of the week.
The fixtures and fittings for the studio have been ordered and should be received early next week. I have ordered the new Foresight FSX software with 4k graphics along with six golf courses:
- Emirates Club (Dubai Desert Classic)
- Hazeltine National (Ryder Cup 2016 Venue)
- Oakmont (US Open 2016 Venue)
- Royal Troon (Open 2016 Venue)
- Quail Hollow (PGA Tour course and 2017 US Open Venue)

Nerveless Willett Claims Dramatic Win In DubaiThe new XR 16 Driver is officially a winner on Tour after Danny Willett used it to close out victory yesterday at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic. In just his second week with the new XR 16 Driver (and Fairway Woods) in the bag, Willett beat a World Class field and sealed the win with a clutch putt on the 72nd hole for his fourth career win.
It's the second straight European Tour win for #TeamCallaway after Branden Grace defended his title in Qatar last week and our third in the last four weeks.

The 10 Yard Challenge - Hit the ball further for the forthcoming season!
On Saturday, 20 February we are issuing all of you a challenge, can we add 10 yards to those all-important drives!
From 8:30am - 3pm we will be giving everyone the chance to book a FREE 15 minute session on the range where we will video your swing, gather GC2 analysis and by the end of those crucial 15 minutes we will give you great info to help add yards to those drives.

Club and Shoe cleaning
With the wet winter weather hitting us hard at the moment, your golfing equipment needs to be looked after. After recent feedback we have decided to introduce a new Club and Shoe cleaning service to our members. By keeping your shoes and clubs clean you will prolong the life span of the product and reduce mess in the car.
- Club cleaning + Grips and shafts - £5
- Shoes + Polish - £5
Members equipment can be collected and returned to their locker.
Professional's Team Challenge
This coming year, the pro shop will be offering a pro's challenge. The challenge will involve a team of three members with one of our professionals. It will be a stableford of best two scores out of four with the cost of £25 per player.
If you win the challenge and have the best score out of all of the teams to compete, you will win a golf trip away. The destination will depend on how many entries we have.
It would be great to get the chance to play with our members so please come in and chat to us and we'll have a game!
